What happens at a brow wax
- Shape consult. We look at your brow growth, face shape and the look you want: natural, clean or more defined.
- Hard wax shaping. Warm hard wax removes hair along the shape, followed by tweezing for any strays.
- Tint, if you booked it. Color is applied and timed to your shade, then cleaned off.
- Soothe. A calming post-wax foam settles any redness, usually gone within an hour.

How long should I grow my brows out before a wax?
Skip tweezing for about 3 to 4 weeks before your first visit. The extra growth lets us see your natural shape and build a fuller, even brow.
How often should I get my eyebrows waxed?
Most clients rebook every 3 to 5 weeks. Tint fades gradually over a few weeks, so many clients tint at every other wax.
What does an eyebrow tint do?
A tint adds color to the brow hairs, including the fine, light ones, so brows look fuller and more defined without daily pencil or powder. We match the shade to your hair and skin tone.
Can I get my eyebrows waxed if I use retinol?
Stop retinol, retinoids and exfoliating acids on the brow area about 5 to 7 days before your wax, and tell us about any acne medication. If you have taken isotretinoin (Accutane) in the past six months, we can't wax your face, but we can tint.
What should I avoid after an eyebrow wax?
For 24 hours, skip makeup on the waxed area, heavy sweating, saunas, direct sun and exfoliating products. If you had a tint, avoid oil-based cleansers on your brows for a day so the color lasts.
