Questions
Bikini-area aftercare FAQ
What should I put on my bikini area after waxing?
Keep it simple for the first 48 hours: a light, fragrance-free moisturizer on unbroken skin, and no exfoliating acids, retinol, heat or friction. Our estheticians recommend Skin Script Light Aloe Moisturizer, available in the studio.
When can I exfoliate after a Brazilian wax?
Wait at least 48 hours after waxing, sugaring or shaving. After that, exfoliating pads such as Skin Script Clarifying Toner Pads or Glycolic & Retinol Pads can be used 2 to 3 times a week on the outer bikini line if your skin isn't irritated. Never use them on broken skin, the vulva or the vaginal opening.
Which Skin Script product helps with ingrown hairs?
Our estheticians recommend Skin Script Clarifying Toner Pads, with glycolic acid, salicylic acid and tea tree oil, for bumps and clogged-looking pores on the external bikini area. Start 2 to 3 times a week, at least 48 hours after hair removal, and follow with a moisturizer.
Which Skin Script product helps with dark spots in the bikini area?
Skin Script Glycolic & Retinol Pads, with glycolic acid, retinol, alpha-arbutin and kojic acid, help improve the look of uneven tone and texture on the external bikini area. Use them 2 to 3 times a week, wear SPF on skin that sees the sun, and ask us first if you're pregnant or nursing.
