Pain levels can vary depending on individual tolerance and the area being waxed. However, many clients find that discomfort diminishes with regular waxing sessions. As an add on service, we offer numbing cream to help alleviate the pain. 

Hair should ideally be about 1/4 to 1/2 inch long, roughly the length of a grain of rice, for optimal waxing results.

The frequency of waxing depends on individual hair growth cycles, but typically, appointments are scheduled every 4 to 6 weeks to maintain smooth skin and for optimal waxing results.

If it’s your first Brazilian wax, avoid shaving at least two weeks before your reservation. Exfoliate the skin 1-2 before your appointment and wear loose-fitting clothing. To help alleviate pain , take a pain reliever 30 minutes prior to your appointment.

While uncommon, potential side effects may include redness, irritation, or ingrown hairs. These can be minimized by following aftercare instructions provided by your esthetician.

Yes, you can still wax during menstruation, but it’s generally recommended to schedule appointments during the middle of your cycle when pain sensitivity is lower. We offer complimentary feminine wipes, feminine wash and tampons.

Results typically last 3 to 6 weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles. With regular waxing, hair regrowth tends to become finer and less dense over time.

Our Policy

1.0 Cancellation and No-Show Policy

At The Guest House, we are committed to providing exceptional service to all our clients. To ensure that we can accommodate appointment requests and maintain service quality, we have established a strict cancellation and no-show policy. This policy is designed to ensure that all clients have the opportunity to book appointments in a timely manner.

Cancellation Policy:

  •  Less than 24 Hours’ Notice: If an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, 50% of the scheduled appointment fee will be charged to the card on file.
  • Same Day Cancellations: If a service is cancelled on the same day as the appointment, 50% of the scheduled service will be charged to the card on file.

No-Show Policy:

  • No Call-No Show: For all no call-no show appointments, 75% of the scheduled service fee will be charged to the card on file. A no call-no show is defined as a situation where a guest does not show up for their scheduled appointment and fails to notify us in advance.  

Payment Enforcement:

  • Declined Cards: If the card on file is declined, an invoice for the applicable fees will be sent to the email address on file. The invoice must be paid promptly to avoid disruption of future booking privileges.
  • Strict Enforcement: * This policy is strictly enforced to ensure fairness and efficiency in our booking system. Adherence to these guidelines allows us to continue offering high-quality services and maintain a reliable schedule for all clients.

2.0 Late Arrival and Cancellation Policy

At The Guest House, we value your time and strive to provide timely and efficient services to all our clients. To ensure that we can accommodate everyone and maintain our schedule, we have established the following late arrival and cancellation policy

Late Arrival Policy:
  •  Up to 10 Minutes Late: If a client arrives up to 10 minutes late for their scheduled appointment, we will still service the client. However, a late fee of $15 will be charged in addition to the cost of the scheduled service.
  • More than 10 Minutes Late: If a client arrives more than 10 minutes late, the appointment will be cancelled. The client will be charged 50% of the scheduled appointment fee to the card on file.
 
Rebooking Policy:
 Once the cancellation fee is paid, the client can rebook the appointment at their convenience. This policy helps us manage our schedule effectively and ensures that all clients receive the full attention and service they deserve. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
